PRESIDENT ELECTION
The first period of president election has done. Until this week, SBY is still leading the election result with Megawati the second. It seems, they will continue to the second period of president election.
Though it almost impossible to Wiranto to follow the second period, Golkar still not thinking about possibility to support the two between SBY and Megawati. Meanwhile, some of Islamic masses (including Muhammadiyah) decided to not vote on the second period, just because there is no president candidate that suits them. (STUPID PEOPLE, AREN'T THEY~???)
For all Indonesian people, especially those who have the franchise (to choose the president, red.), PLEASE VOTE~! Your voice is VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE.
BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2004
Silverstone, Britain. Did you look at the new helmet of Jenson Button? He is avoiding bad luck... Alright, don't talk about this... (^_~)
This season pole was Kimi Raikkonen, followed by Rubens Barrichello, Button, and Michael Schumacher. The start was so usual, as there is no change in the front row. Meanwhile, Takuma Sato managed to get ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya to get the seventh place.
Still on lap 1, Barrichello was unable to keep up with Kimi and ends the first lap with 3.5 seconds behind.
Lap 2, the first fastest lap by Kimi and he continued to lead 4.3 seconds in front of Barrichello, who continued to be under pressure from Button and Schumi. Further back, Fernando Alonso passed Giorgio Pantano for 13th place and Nick Heidfeld was overtaken by Giancarlo Fisichella for 16th.
Lap 3, the gap between Barrichello and Kimi stabilized, as Barrichello sets the fastest lap. In the middle, Sato was mistaken (he ran after the grass, red.) and his place is taken by Montoya.
Lap 8, the pressure from Schumi to Button began as Kimi and Barrichello’s gap was 3.5 seconds... Alonso pitted for the first time on this lap and rejoined in 18th place from 12th.
Barrichello pitted a lap after, and dropped to 10th. Meanwhile, Button gets the second place in front of Schumi. Two laps after Barrichello has pitted, Raikkonen, Montoya, and Button all are heading to the pit lane. They left Schumi as the leader. Kimi dropped to fourth, while Button was seventh. Schumi was able to reduce his lap times, impressively.
Lap 13, another fastest lap for Schumi as he managed to pull out his lead. In the same time, second-placed Trulli pitted and dropped to 13th. A lap after, Schumi's lead over Kimi was up to 21 seconds. O-oh... And a lap after this... On the lap 15, Schumi headed to the pit lane after sets another fastest lap. He rejoined back as the leader, just ahead of Kimi. (^_^)
Sato also pitted on the lap 15, and dropped back from fourth to 14th. Two laps after, Olivier Panis retired with a mechanical problem. Schumi and Kimi were still leading.
Lap 23, Schumi was under pressure from Kimi as he seems to have a much bigger fuel load than Kimi and maybe going for to-stop strategy.
Two laps after, the second pit stop period began. Alonso and Marc Gene was the first. They pitted from 11th and 12th, and rejoined in 14th and 15th.
Lap 27, Button pitted from 4th and rejoined in sixth. At the middle of the field, Alonso passed Christian Klien for 13th.
Lap 28, Kimi and Barrichello both pitted. Kimi still the second, while Barrichello managed to rejoin behind Montoya and David Coulthard.
The next lap, Montoya was pitted and dropped to 8th. Meanwhile, Minardi has a problems with Gianmaria Bruni was going back to the pit lane for a drive-through penalty, for ignoring blue flag.
Lap 30, Schumi’s gap with Kimi was over 23 seconds. He managed to maintain the gap until lap 32, before he pitted on lap 37.
Lap 40, Schumi and Kimi were still leading, but Kimi had to do another stop. Meanwhile, Trulli hit the tyre wall at the exit of Bridge Corner and retired after spun over and rolled over when it hit the gravel trap. (>.<) By the way, Trulli emerged uninjured, but Safety Car was sent out...
The race restarted at lap 46, when all drivers have done their pit stop. Schumi quickly showed that he was fastest enough to pull out his car from Kimi, while Barrichello is closer to Kimi.
Finally, the race ended with the 80th Grand Prix victory of Schumi (10th this year), followed by Kimi on the second place, Barrichello, Button, Montoya, Fisichella, Coulthard, and Mark Webber.
Know who was so happy in the Ferrari team about the podium result??? He was... Ross Brawn~! As he seems he like Kimi very much... (^_^)
