Chemistry In Life Thirty-second Edition
Welcome back to Chemistry in Life. As the 2007 Formula 1 season has started, this weblog has ressurrected and alive again.
So, for the first edition this year, thirty-second edition of all my entries here, we got Another View of Myu-chan for this week, a short report of Australian F1 Grand Prix, and a list of F1 driver which maybe will succeed this year, according to my opinion. Also, the 'I Love You' section has been updated, in which Kimi Raikkonen moved up to second place, below Michael Schumacher. I've updated a few links, too..
Okay... I don't know what to say now. Just enjoy this entry right now!
Oh, sorry, have I promised to write 'In Love With Michael Schumacher' a few editions ago? I think so... Well, I haven't got enough time to write that, so maybe I'll write about him and why I could be in love with him next one or two editions. Just stay in tune.
And now.. Enjoy!

14 Maret 2007

*gubrak* *sigh*
Btw, soal asistensi, Myu agak kasihan sama praktikan-nya...

Kimi Raikkonen menang! *nari-nari* Aih, dia kelihatan imut pake baju merah-nya Ferrari. Entah kenapa, saya mikir dia mirip sama Daddy Schuey dengan potongan rambut cepak kaya gitu. Bedanya, mukanya Kimi rada lebih persegi... *Atau lebih gemuk dikit ya, mukanya?*
Hamilton lumayan juga. Baru pertama di F1, dia udah finis nomer tiga. *tendang McLaren* Beneran, saya makin sebel sama McLaren sekarang... Saya suka Fernando Alonso, dan mungkin nanti juga Lewis Hamilton... Tapi McLaren? Nope, and never.
Eh, iya. Kalau dipikir-pikir, sekarang ini saya suka dua orang 'Ice Man' ya? Kimi Raikkonen-nya F1, dan Raidiese F. Branstein-nya SRW Original Generation... Aih... *kabur*

FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX, ALBERT PARK, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - REPORT
Alright, welcome back to Melbourne, to the beautiful Albert Park Circuit. Of course, at this circuit, we're starting the brand-new Formula 1 season. This season will be different, since Michael Schumacher is retired from F1 (though it's been said that he is still staying in Ferrari as a mentor or whatever you may call it..), Kimi Raikkonen is moving to Ferrari, replacing Schumi (and they said he got Schumi's crew! How sweet~!), and... Fernando Alonso, the last year champion, moved to McLaren-Mercedes *sigh*. We also have some pretty good rookie this year, for example, Lewis Hamilton, who was domineering on the last F2 season, and Heikki Kovalainen.
Before my report, I think I want to talk about... The cars' colour. Believe me, I'm very... Err... Dizzy. Well, all the cars almost looked the same. The main colours are red, white, or black. Even McLaren's silver car looked whiter with those black and red stripes... On the spur of the moment, I think
McLaren's car is better only silver like what they have a few years ago... *sigh* However, I love Honda's earth-painting, though it is still looked like black from afar for me.
Oh, yeah, I know Renault's is yellow now. I don't like that. Better blue than yellow. *sigh again*
Enough blabbing. Now to the report. *g* Oh, just to inform, my Mum made some calls almost all the time to make comments. But, I won't write it too much here, because... Well, I didn't remember much. *lol*
Yeah, yeah, OK. Here is my report...
At this Australian F1 Grand Prix, Kimi Raikkonen, who is a driver for Ferrari now, got the pole position from the Saturday qualification. Behind him, there are McLaren-Mercedes driver, Fernando Alonso, and BMW's Nick Heidfeld, second and third, respectively. His Ferrari team mate, Felipe Massa, has to start the race from the twenty-second place because he seemed to have changed his engine after a problem on the qualifying. Behind Heidfeld, there were the rookie Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubica, and Giancarlo Fisichella.
The start was really smooth for Raikkonen, as Hamilton was beaten off the line by Kubica before he could take the second place, and Alonso trapped behind Heidfeld. Almost in each lap, Raikkonen set a new fastest time of that day. And, before he went in to the pit stop for the first time, he has already set a wide gap with Hamilton's car, about 9-10 seconds at that time.
After Kimi's first pit, Hamilton led the race for a few laps before he called for his own pit-stop. Alonso then became the leader for another few laps, but dropped off to third place again after he entered the pit himself.
After nearly all the drivers have their first pit, Felipe Massa, who started the race from the last place, gained some advantage of position, since he didn’t pit at that time. He entered the pit only on lap 28, and he was on the eleventh place after that pit.
The second part of the race has nothing really special, except Kubica has to retired from the race on lap 38 after he has a problem with his BMW car's gearbox. *kicks BMW*
About lap 40-41, Kimi entered the pit again. He dropped off to third place, and the McLaren duo led the race. Two laps after it, Hamilton pitted, and Kimi moved up to second place, while Hamilton blocked by Takuma Sato and has to be in the third place at that time. That left Alonso alone in the front, leading the race, before he entered the pit for the second time.
Kimi led the race again after Alonso's pit, and Massa gained some more position after a few struggle in passing some cars.
Lap 48, there was an accident involving Alexander Wurz and David Coulthard. Coulthard was trying to get past Wurz at that time, but Wurz seemed that he didn't want to lose his position. Coulthard took the inside line, but Wurz tried to keep his position from outside, and yes, they crashed. Coulthard’s car was beaten off-the-line, and his car's left-front-side seemed to suffered some serious damage. Of course, Wurz and Coulthard have to retired, and Mum was blabbing all the 5 minutes, commenting about the stupid accident.
At the end of the race, Kimi Raikkonen won the 2007 Australian Grand Prix, 10 seconds ahead of the McLaren duo, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. At the fourth place, there was Nick Heidfeld, followed by Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa. Nico Rosberg seventh, and the last point goes to Ralf Schumacher in his Toyota car. For the constructor, McLaren leads one point ahead of Ferrari, with 14 points (Ferrari has 13 points).
There were only two another retiring that day, besides of Wurz-DC's accident and Kubica's gearbox problem. Christijan Albers has to retired because an accident in early race and Scott Speed has to stop after his wheel locked and he couldn't take control of his car.
Congratulations for Kimi for a marvellous win, also for Alonso, and for Hamilton for a great F1 debut!! *throws confetti*
Anyway, before the ceremony on the podium, I saw Todt handed a phone to Kimi, and he was talking to the phone. At the first time, I don't know who’s on the line, but after I read the press conference here and the news here... Well, yeah, apparently, it was Michael Schumacher who made a call for Kimi at that time. But Kimi said that the line was so bad so he couldn't hear Schumi's voice really well.
Oh, well... That gave me and my Mum the answer of our question at the beginning of the race, "Is Schumi there?" And the answer is… Schumi wasn't there. Maybe he was busy with other stuff… (Maybe he was on weekend vacation with his children? Who knows? *g*)
Umm... Anyway, Kimi is really cute inside the red uniform, right? Aww~! I love him~! *runs away*
Edit-to-add: Coulthard says that the accident between him and Wurz is mainly his fault. But, well, I still think of it as a stupid accident. *lol*
2007 F1 SEASON – WHO WILL SUCCEED? – MY LIST – PART 1
Formula 1 2007 season has been started. Without Schumi, who are the drivers that have the chances to be a champion, or, at least, will succeed this year? I have a list of some below.
Here is my list (Of course, not in order. What for?):
1. Kimi Raikkonen - Ferrari
Moved from McLaren-Mercedes to Ferrari, he is a lucky guy. Yes, he is LUCKY. Got a damn good car, great Ferrari's crew (except the great Ross Brawn), and Schumi's crew (sweet, isn’t it?), etc... He has the chance to be this year's champion after his first win with Ferrari. He is good from the beginning, there's no doubt about it. The problem is could he keep his style of racing like the one he performed this weekend? Could he keep 'calm and collected' at the track? If yes, then the 'Ice Man' could be this year champion.
2. Fernando Alonso – McLaren-Mercedes
The last year champion is now racing for McLaren-Mercedes. I heard rumours that he wants to be Formula 1 Champion with different cars. Don't really now if that's right, but Alonso still has the chance to be the champion. This year, McLaren's car is also pretty good, unlike the previous years. His style of driving is also great. Just increase (or at least, keep) his stability with the car, and he has the great chance.
3. Lewis Hamilton – McLaren-Mercedes
Dominates F3 Euroseries arena in 2005 and had a great performance in GP2 championship, Hamilton moved to the most prestigious racing event in the world, Formula 1. He is recruited for McLaren-Mercedes, as Alonso's partner. The result of the Australian Grand Prix tell me that he is damn good, but I can't guarantee if he has the chance to be the champion, because his team-mate is Fernando Alonso, who was the champion last year, and maybe, still want to be the champion for this season. Well, Hamilton will succeed with McLaren, at least, if he doesn't win the championship. However, in a few years from now, he might be a worthy candidate. And, he might be the first black-skinned F1 champion ever. Dunno when, but let’s pray for him to be succeed this year.
4. Robert Kubica – BMW Sauber
Started to drive F1 car last year, he has shown pretty good performance in some races. Too bad, his BMW car is not really good and stable these years. However, with his talent, he will succeed this year, if he keeps that nice performance, and not having much problem with his *damn stupid* BMW car.
5. Felipe Massa - Ferrari
Some people around me choose to support him instead of Kimi after Schumi's retiring. For example, my Mum, even though she said that she too, supports Kimi, since he is a good guy. *lol* Massa has the good chance, too, just like the four men I've mentioned before, even though he has some problem with himself. Yeah, in front of my eyes, he is not really stable last year, so if he keeps on like that, he won’t get the chance to at least succeed this year. He needs to be more stable, and the goodness of the Ferrari car will be a... miracle for him. And, he will succeed, at least. *g*
Well, that's all for now. Next edition, I will continue the list with some 5 other men.
*to be continued next time*
Oh, and that ends this edition of Chemistry in Life, too. See you in a few weeks!
Wait. DON'T send any spam to Kimi Raikkonen or me, telling anything bad to the two of us, or anything else.. bad. I WILL kick your butt if you insisted to do so. *g*
Alright, bubble bye! See ya~~!! *waves hand goodbye*
